Amp Up Your Car's Style and Performance
Do you want your ride to perform and look more like a mean street machine? Not only do you want your car to go fast, you want it to look fast and sound fast too! But, without the proper aftermarket parts, you're robbing your engine from reaching its maximum horsepower capabilities. I suggest you equip your ride with some performance-boosting aftermarket parts to ensure your car is performing at its top potential.
One easy way to enhance your ride's performance is by adding a cold air intake system. Cold air intakes deliver blasts of fresh oxygen into your engine. For a top-notch cold air intake system that always produces the best results, I always recommend Volant. Volant cold air intake systems increase your ride's horsepower, torque and gas mileage. Volant custom designs their systems to your exact year, make and model vehicle, so they're easy to install and they fit perfectly.
Another surefire way to increase your ride's ponies is to equip it with a cat-back exhaust. Your stock exhaust is restrictive, but with a cat-back exhaust, you get CNC mandrel bent tubes and a high-flow muffler that work together to deliver spikes in horsepower, torque and rumble. Some of the best cat-back exhaust manufacturers include Volant, Magnaflow and Borla.
Now that your ride has the power and the sound you've been lusting after, it's time to give your car a true racecar feel. One easy way to do this is by adding custom gauges to your dashboard. My favorite brand to turn to here is AutoMeter. AutoMeter crafts a huge selection of gauges that track everything from vital statistics like pressure and boost to simpler functions like fuel levels, oil pressure and speed. In just a glance, you can see all the important info you need. Plus, AutoMeter also crafts pro-shift systems, a-pillar mounts, mounting cups and panels, and more.
More ways to make your car look track-ready include installing custom race seats, pedals, steering wheels and shifters. Without costing a lot of money, these custom accessories are the perfect touch for your car's race-ready appearance. And, most of these additions can be installed in just minutes, so you can spend less time hassling with a long, tedious installation and more time riding around in style.

Should i upgrade my amp?
I have these
2 12"s Subs http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=GTO1204D&cat=SUB&ser=GTS
With this amp..

Would getting a more powerful amp make my subs noticably louder? or should i just keep it how it is. To me the louder the better
Your link to the amp is not working. For those subs, you need an amp that is rated at 600 Watts RMS at 4-ohms. JL is not the best. RF makes great amps. You should have a fuse no further than 18" from your battery. If your amp has no fuse in it, put one in the battery wire just before the amp. Real simple to do. JL W1 series is their entry level, junk. Any name brand (and I mean good, not junk name brands, like Boss) has an entry level series and up from there. Almost all of them (entry level) is junk. Here is a list of good, mediocre, and junk brands I keep handy.
Good brands, including but not limited to: Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, JL Audio, Soundstream, ARC Audio, Cadence, Diamond Audio, Focal, Dayton (subs), Precision Power, some MTX, RE audio, Fi car audio, Sundown Audio, Hertz, MB quartz, Zapco, Infinity, Incriminator Audio, Missing Link Audio, Mach5, Ascendent audio, and DC sound labs, Digital Designs, Pioneer Premier; old school brands: Lanzar, Hifonics, Orion, and Phoenix Gold.
Mediocre brands (brands that are good for the money, but there is better): Quantum Audio, Sony ES line, Memphis, JBL (in my opinion), Pioneer, Kenwood.
Generic brands, not limited to, but including Pyramid, Boss, Lanzar (except old school Lanzars), HiFonics (again except old school, series VIII and earlier), Legacy, American Pro, Powerbass, MA Audio, Dual, Lightning Audio, Visionik, Volfenhag, Jensen, American Legacy, Audiobahn, Sony Explod line, VR3, JVC, Pyle. Any thing at Wal-Mart, or an auto parts store.
