well i have to agree with the last comment. american legacy isnt a very great brand for a few reasons. you never want to buy an amp that doesnt advertise the RMS wattage. Rms is what that amp will put out all day everday. normally (if there are external fuses on the amp) you would add up the total value of the fuses and find 80 % of the total and that is the RMS wattage. also i was wondering where you were putting the speaker at? ( in the trunk? or in the cab of your truck?) the only reason why i ask this is because it will help determine the tpye of box you will need ( i.e. ported or sealed, etc.) the speaker is decent but if your going with a single sub you will get more bang for your buck if you buy a sub thats a 2 ohm dual voice coil, and buying an amp thats 1 ohm stable. that way you can wire your sub in parallel to drop the ohms and let your amp produce more power more efficently which means cleaner power with less heat production. as for the woofer. i didnt see if its single or duel voice coil. if its single 4 ohm then when you wire it up it will still have a 4 ohm load. if its duel then the ohm load will change as to how you wire it up. parallel = 2 ohm load, series = 8 ohm load. keep that in mide when buying an amp. The box doesnt have the volume listed either. just when buying a box make sure it has the air space required for the woofer, in this case you need a 12 in box that has 1.25 cubic feet of volume.
