need aftermarket trailer lite hookup for 2005 honda element?
2005 honda element. looking for the plug-in connection point for aftermarket auxillary lite application. there is nothing in my owners manual detailing point of contact, nor directions with the light kit i ordered by mail. please advise if you have hooked up lights on a honda element. thanks.
you just have to tie the kit lights into your honda rear lights wiring by cutting the wires and spliceing into them, get a test light and see what wire controls the turn signal and what wire controls the brake light and tie into them on both sides. There should be 3 wires going to each rear light, one for the brake light one for the turn signal and one for your lights when you turn the headlights on.
