medicine you probably should not believe a single person making a claim.
However, the us Government has remarked that obesity is really a rapidly growing problem and that deceitful advertisements for weight reduction devices can event present a health risk for anyone relying on these devices to lose weight if they don't additionally exercise and change their nutrition. The Federal Trade Commission is a government agency that monitors advertisements for bogus or deceptive claims. In their brochure "Red Flag - Bogus Weight Loss Claims" (downloadable at www.ftc.org) the agency lists 7 strategies to identify false ads and products. 1. Cause substantial weightloss by wearing it on the body or rubbing it in to the skin.
You might think of the US government anything you like, but honestly: why should they present a guideline for healthier living and protecting people from product scams if their findings were not true? Especially as these guidelines only confirm what common sense tells the majority of us anyways. Items like body belts, body wraps, rings, creams or lotions cannot make you lose substantial weight. Ads claiming that products from this category will make you lose over a pound a week are simply put: just untruths.
2. Cause weightloss of two pounds or even more per week for a month or maybe more without dieting or exercise.
Although certain commercials would like to make us believe differently, everybody knows that in order to lose weight you will need to do more exercise and/or alter your diet consuming a smaller amount of calories. According to the nutrition experts from the FTC any ad that claims otherwise is just false. Personally , i agree wholeheartedly that it is not genuine if the product promises to allow you to get slimmer without varying your lifestyle.
3. Cause substantial fat reduction (meaning the loss of no less than 1 pound/week or a total weight loss greater than 15 pounds in a time period) no matter what or just how much a person eats
It is impossible for you to reduce weight regardless of how much or the things you eat. As pointed out, reducing your weight requires consuming fewer calories. Some products may claim they curb your appetite, however that also means you will want to consume less, if they work that is. How much should a golden retriever puppy weigh at 14 weeks?
My puppy is about 14 weeks old this saturday. She went to the vet last week and weighed 20.6 lbs. I weighed her to day and she weighed 24 lbs. She has a slim body, and she's not fat. She gets fed about 2 cups a day. Her brothers were pretty big when I saw them, and she was the runt of the litter. Please answer!
She also drinks and pees a LOT. Is that normal for a golden puppy?
puppies are like people - it will vary. what matters is the puppy is healthy - and it sounds like she is. don't worry.
i had a runt of the litter of golden retriever / rott mix and he was a small puppy but grew to 110# healthy dog.
