What guitar pedals would be best to sound like Trans-siberian orchestra?

Hello, so I'm going to try to record myself playing all of the TSO songs for the holidays and burn them to discs for family, but I'm not very familiar with pedals/amps.

I'm using GTR Waves, which allows me to emulate pretty much any pedal/amp so don't worry about what I have/don't have (hehe). I haven't really done any recording and I'm practically tone-def so if you could point me in a general direction of pedals to use that would be great.:)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWSLYlJ39Qw&feature=related, this page has almost all TSO songs in the related section.

Thanks in advance.:)

P.S.: would anyone know of a free piece of software that will work in conjunction with GTR? Audacity won't work and Kristal is a piece of crap in my opinion.

Whenever you're trying to sound like someone - start by modeling the same gear they use. Several of the TSO guitarists have websites -- here's a listing

Heres Chris Caffery's http://www.chriscaffery.com/ . I know he plays Dean guitars, Digitech and Homebrew stomp boxes - and last I knew- Marshall amps.

It's tone "deaf" not "def" and if you're tone deaf how can you play at all ?

Hope that helps
