Why is my HDTV picture freezing and then turning white?
I have a Westinghouse 26-inch LCD HDTV... and after about a minute of viewing, the picture freezes and the colors slowly fade and turn white (some of the color remains on the screen, but it's very faint).
It happens when it's hooked up to the cable box (coax cable) or DVD player (red-green-blue-yellow-white cable). There's also a VCR plugged into the power strip, but not connected. I have two other unused cable outlets on the second floor of my house.
When I plug the TV in upstairs and don't connect it to anything, it receives one local HD channel... and it's fine. There are no problems.
I'm wondering if RF interference is causing my issue downstairs.
Westinghouse just told me to send it back, but I wanted to do some research first.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
sounds as though you are getting feedback in the flux capacitor, which leads to an overload of the pernambulator.
Westinghouse says send it back, ship it out, get one that works!!
