where is belt on fan to my central air?
I have a westinghouse central air unit (not sure how old) I turned my air on, and it doesnt feel like cool air is comming out of vent's (I feel very little air blowing) I have a double wide, I tried cleaning the condensor area, it wasnt dirty or clogged,The fuses/breaker's are fine. where is the belt (if any) to the motor/fan ? so i can check this? thank you.
Some blowers have no belt. The blower cage is mounted on the motor shaft itself. Some have a shaft and cage on both sides. Make sure the starting capacitor is good. And remember that some units use 220v, so if one breaker is out you will get problems. Try turning on the heat. If you get air blowing the motor is likely good.
